What data we collect
We collect personal data in the following circumstances:
- Account registration & trade applications: name, company name, business address, email address, telephone number, VAT number, company registration number and trade references.
- Orders & checkout: billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number and payment details (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card data).
- Enquiries & quotes: name, company, email address, telephone number and any details you provide in your message.
- Website usage: pages visited, browser type, device type, approximate location (country/region) and interaction data, collected via cookies (see below).

Cookies

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How long we keep your data
- Order records: retained for 7 years to meet HMRC requirements.
- Trade account data: retained for the duration of the account relationship plus 3 years.
- Enquiry data: retained for 2 years from the date of last contact.
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (where we are not required to retain it by law)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
